Novi Sad operates under the aegis of the Public Еnterprise „Electric Power Industry of Serbia“ as a dependent business organization; together with its three branches in Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Sremska Mitrovica it plays а significant role in supplying Serbia, Vojvodina and Novi Sad with electric and thermal energy.
