  • Capital Overhaul

Capital overhaul has set off modernization of the existing steam turbine in TPP-HP Zrenjanin. The expected outputs are significant: increase of electrical power in condensing operating conditions from 50 to 80 MW, efficiency boost, decrease of specific consumption and advanced reliability of the turbine operation.

The general overhaul is implemented in cooperation with the turbine original manufacturer – Škoda Power, and entails replacement of the high pressure (HP) and low pressure (LP) blades, as well as other works. An entirely new rotor was constructed for the high pressure turbine.

All works related to turbine general overhaul end by 15 October, after which warranty testing will be carried out.
