Management of the Business Organization “Panonske termoelektrane-toplane” d.o.o. Novi Sad has initiated significant and comprehensive actions for the reconstruction and modernization of existing facilities and plants.

Basic objective of these activities is to increase energy efficiency in plant operation, reduction of specific consumption of fuel per unit of the produced electric and thermal energy, improvement of reliability, safety and security of plant operation, compliance with regulations of the European Union concerning environmental protection and energy efficiency, and bringing operational economic indicators into frames that would be competitive to the imported electrical energy.
