1977. – Commencement of TE-TO Novi Sad construction.
1981. - Commencement of electric and thermal energy production in TE-TO Novi Sad, first stage.
1982. - Linking up with the heating plant “East” and commencement of thermal energy supply to plants for heating of Novi Sad.
1984. - Commencement of electric energy production in TE-TO Novi Sad, second stage.

ТЕ-ТО Zrenjanin
1952. – Thermal power plant constructed in IPK „Servo Mihalj“.
1978. – Construction commencement of new TE-TO Zrenjanin, capacity 120 MW.
1989. - Merge of thermal power plant Servo Mihalj and the new power plant TE-TO Zrenjanin completed.
1989. – End of TE-TO Zrenjanin construction and the commencement of electric energy and technological steam production.

ТЕ-ТО Sremska Mitrovica
1962. - The coal-fired plant for combined production of electric and thermal energy built in the cellulose and paper factory „Matroz“
1977. - Energy plant modernized by constructing the additional small gas-fired and fuel oil boilers
1977. - New fuel oil and gas-fired plant with higher energy capacity for producing electric and thermal energy constructed
1981. - Energy plant handed over to SOUR Elekrovojvodina to become TE-TO Sremska Mitrovica

1991 Public enterprise for producing thermo-electric and thermal energy „Panonske elektrane“ was formed by decision of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia’s (EPS) Steering Committee to include three existing thermal power plants-heat plants: TE-TO Novi Sad, TE-TO Zrenjanin and TE-TO Sremska Mitrovica.
2006 Public enterprise „Panonske elektrane“, during the proprietary transformation in Serbian Electric Power Industry, started to operate within EPS with a new legal status and under a new name: Business Organization “Panonske termoelektrane-toplane” d.o.o. Novi Sad.
