Business Organization „Panonske termoelektrane-toplane d.o.o. Novi Sad operates under the aegis of the Public Еnterprise „Electric Power Industry of Serbia“ as a dependent business organization; together with its three branches in Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Sremska Mitrovica it plays а significant role in supplying Serbia, Vojvodina and Novi Sad with electric and thermal energy.

We produce electric and thermal energy

The plants produce energy in a modern, co-generation process that enables the saving of primary fuel – natural gas or fuel oil – up to 25% in relation to separated production of electricity and heat. Total nominal installed capacity is:

424 MW (megawatts) electric power

505 (t) MW (megawatts) thermal power

860 t/h (tons per hour) technological steam for process industry.

Cogeneration process saves primary fuel

Use of natural gas as primary fuel excludes Panonske termoelektrane-toplane d.o.o. Novi Sad from a group of large environmental contaminants. With further modernization of its capacities and by applying European standards, reduction of the pollutant emission continues.

We protect environment

Out of many prizes and awards, the ones that stand out are: Golden Medal of Quality, which Panonske TE-TO were awarded two years in a row by the Novi Sad Fair (in 2007 and 2008), and “Kapetan Miša Anastasijević” award in category “The Road to the Top”.
