TPP-HP Sremska Mitrovica

Basic Information

According to its size and capacity, TPP-HP in Sremska Mitrovica is the smallest power facility in the scope of Business Organization “Panonske termoelektrane-toplane” d.o.o. Novi Sad. It is located on the left bank of Sava river, 4 km downstream, in the east industrial zone of the city.

TPP-HP Sremska Mitrovica was designed as industrial energy plant that may produce approximately 200.000 MWh of electrical energy per year. This branch provides heating to the town via four kilometer long main hot-water pipeline.

Technical Capacities

Boilers:

-        two boilers of 80/100 t/h, 505°C, 6,4 Mpa each,

-        supporting steam boilers: three boilers S-2400.

Turbines:

-        T32

• nominal electric power 32 MW
• thermal capacity for heating 33 MWt
• technological steam 150 t/h.

The fuel is natural gas or fuel oil.

In the last few years, due to the fact that factories Matroz and Šećerana ceased to operate, production of technological steam from these facilities stopped.
